Woman comes back to life after being dead for nearly a day

I guess when they say the Lord works in mysterious ways, they really mean it!

Imagine having a love one who is dead for 17 1/2 hours, then you get a call saying they're still alive.

That's what happened to Val Thomas. Evidently her family made the decision to take her off life support after Thomas suffered three heart attacks. Little did they know that Val would come back to life despite that fact that she had no brainwaves for nearly 18 hours.

Authorities even say that rigor mortis had set in on Thomas' body, but that didn't stop Val from bouncing back from the dead.
